CampsiteScan

Terms of Service

Effective July 30, 2026

Welcome to CampsiteScan. These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and CampsiteScan ("we", "us") covering your use of campsitescan.com and its alert service. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. What CampsiteScan does

CampsiteScan watches campground reservation systems for openings that match your dates and location, and emails you when one appears. We are a notification service only:

CampsiteScan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to ReserveCalifornia, California State Parks, or any park operator or reservation provider. All park names belong to their owners.

2. Your account

3. Price and billing

4. Fair use

Don't abuse the service. That includes attempting to scrape, resell, or redistribute our alerts or data; probing or disrupting the service; using it for anything unlawful; or circumventing account or plan limits. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

5. Disclaimers

CampsiteScan is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Upstream reservation systems change, block, rate-limit, and break without warning, and campsite data comes from them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including a missed campsite, a changed trip, or anything you book (or don't book) based on an alert.

7. Ending or changing the service

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of the service. If we discontinue paid service entirely, we'll refund the unused portion of your current billing period. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or on the site, and continued use after that means you accept them.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
